Art
by Rahul "Ray" Kamath

People who know me well know that in addition to my interests in marketing and business, I'm a bit of an artist too. I won awards for my design work on the "Transportation Futuristics" exhibit for the University of California at Berkeley a few years back, and the "Food Supply Chain" illustration on this page is currently hanging in the University of Wisconsin Digital Salon.

I've done many, many websites and have done many professional illustrations and technical diagrams as well, but I've been a bit too busy with business school lately to dedicate a lot of time to art. Also, because I work in marketing now, I try to spend more of my time thinking about bigger picture issues relating to marketing, and how art and design can be used towards those goals. Nevertheless, here are a couple things I've done in the recent past, but there's plenty more to come, when I get around to posting them! (P.S. I made the illustrations on the homepage too!)

HOW TO RUN THE WORLD - AN INFOGRAPHIC

This infographic was for a Foreign Policy Digest review of TED speaker Parag Khanna's book "How to Run the World" (Random House), but he liked it enough to use on his website

THE MAYOR OF THE WORLD

This is a graphic I made that was published in the Atlantic in Fall 2011. It depicts international relationships between different local government organizations.

THE FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN

A somewhat humorous take on our Food Supply Chain. This is currently hanging in the University of Wisconsin Digital Salon.
